Edible part(s), preparation methods and palatability
Fruits are edible. They are collected by everybody and eaten raw. People in Wag Hamra say that the consumption of many fruits creates a sort of unpleasant dryness in the stomach. Moneys and baboons are also eating the fruits. The fruits are available from October to December, i.e. during the normal crop harvesting period.

Grows in the lowland along rivers.

Propagates by seeds and wildlings.
