Students during clinical years (clinical I & II) are for the first time subjected to teaching based on actual patients. During these years they are expected to learn the basic skills of patient diagnosis
and management. The clinical training is given in two years.

YEAR SIX: (ROTATING INTERNSHIP)

    During this year, the candidates are expected to practice medicine under the supervision of
    their senior instructors in all four major clinical departments, i.e., internal medicine, Surgery,
    Obstetrics-Gynaecology, and Paediatrics
. In each department students stay for a total of 3
    months.
