ADMISSION

For Human Medicine (Medical Doctorate degree)

Entrants are recruited by the ministry of Education based on interests of the candidates and
the grades obtained in the Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESLCE).   Only
the highest scoring, usually above CGPA of 3.6, are eligible for this programme
Average annual intake = 60

For Health Officer programme (B.Sc. Degree)

Applicants should hold a diploma in Basic Nursing. The candidates should have at least a 5 year of working experience and be aged below 40 years. Additionally, all entrants should pass the written examination and give successful interview presented by the college. The applicants are primarily selected and recruited for entrance examinations by the respective Regional Health Bureau and the Zonal Health Departments.

For Diploma programmes

The Ministry of Education selects candidates for these courses. The requirements are having a satisfactory passing grade in the ESLCE (usually above 2.6) and having interest to be trained in
this field.
