How is CFAO managed ?
CFAO is guided by a recognized constitution and administered by a management board.
The board members are comprised of ministries of Health, Education, Labour and Social Affairs, donor agencies professionals and EOC itself.
CFAO deploys 305 employees assigning over 85% to the field work.
Operationally, the ORGANIZATION is headed by a general-manager and a deputy together with three functional departments.
The day to day administrative activities are executed by an administrative committee which is composed of the above officers.
Each child care centre owns a local board while the day to day activity is managed by a director with the support of an administrative committee.
Professionally the child care programmes are supervised by the central office and all the children/families are followed up and counselled by professional and on job trained social workers.
The centres have made operational agreements with their respective regional states.
The ORGANIZATION exercises a broad participatory
implementation processes from national to the local levels.
Policy-wise retaining its long existing activities, the organization is also planning to extend its services to family-empowerment and reintegrated community development programmes.
