Meles Returns Home

 Addis Ababa, June 30 (ENA)--Prime minister Meles Zenawi retuned home on Friday after attending the 11th anniversary of the Sudanese national salvation Revolution.

   Upon arrival here at the Bole international airport Meles was welcomed by senior government officials.

   During his two-day stay in Khartoum, Sudan, Meles had met and held talks with the Sudanese president, general Omar Hussen Al-Beshir on bilateral and regional issues.

    Meles and Al-Beshir discussed on the various Ethio-Sudanese bilateral cooperations being undertaken by the two countries joint ministerial commission.

  The two officials agreed to further consolidate the existing bilateral ties between the two sisterly countries.

  Prime minister Meles also visited the Sudanese biggest oil refinery, which produces 2,000 barrel of oil daily.

  Upon arrival at and departure from Khartoum Meles was received and seen of by general Al-Beshir.
