Panic-stricken Eritrean troops fleeing Barentu:Defector
Addis Ababa, June 15 (ENA) - The Eritrean troops that have been decisively crushed by the gallant Ethiopian defense forces successful counter- offensive in Tesseney are also retreating from the town of Barentu in disarray, an Eritrean soldier said.
The soldier who surrendered to the heroic Ethiopian defense forces on Thursday and spoke on condition of anonymity told ENAs reporter that the panic-stricken Eritrean troops began fleeing the town of Barentu on Wednesday.
The valiant Ethiopian defense forces recaptured Tesseney following provocations from the enemy troops while they were voluntarily withdrawing in accordance with political decisions made by the Ethiopian government.
The Ethiopian defense forces controlled Tesseney killing, wounding and capturing thousands of enemy troops.
