EPLF plunges Eritrea into poverty, insecurity: RSADO

Addis Ababa, June 4 (ENA)-- The EPLF-led government has done nothing good for Eritrea during its 10 years of dictatorial rule but shattered the hopes and dreams of citizens due to its belligerent policy, the Red Sea Afaris Democratic Organization (RSADO) said.

In a statement it issued on Sunday RSADO said EPLF has shattered the country's development vision and reigned an era of poverty, hunger, disease and repression in the war-wrecked Eritrea.

The regime has pushed ahead with its undemocratic systems and embarked on a last-ditch effort to prolong its grip on power, the statement said.

RSADO called on the international community to freeze their assistance to the regime, which it said is anti-peace and defiant to respect peoples' human and democratic rights.

The organization has strongly denounced the regime's brutality against the Red Sea Afaris and urged nationals in the Diaspora to intensify their anti-EPLF struggle.
