HYPED to Host Fundraising in Toronto to help build schools in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa,July 31(ENA)--Hopeful Youth Pursuing Extraordinary Deeds (HYPED), a Canada-based non-profit corporation announces plans to host an Ethiopian-Canadian cultural show in Toronto.

According to an online news posted on the Web (ethiopiafirst.com), the event scheduled to take place on 8 - 9 August 2003 aimed to raise money to help build schools in Ethiopia.

The organizers intend to host a day of outdoor fun including a 3-on-3 basketball tournament and a barbeque and an evening of Ethiopian cultural music, dances and other performances by some up and coming artists, according to the release.

HYPED is non-profit corporation whose main purpose was to raise money to enhance the education standards in Ethiopia and other developing countries.

The corporation also seek to provide meaningful activities to keep the young people in Toronto positively occupied while increasing the appreciation for Ethiopia's rich culture and heritage.
