President Guelleh visits new terminal at Bole Int'l. Airport
Addis Ababa, July 21 (ENA)--President of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh on Sunday visited the new terminal at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
Foreign Affairs Minister Seyoum Mesfin and other higher government officials honored the Djiboutian President company in his visit of the terminal.
Briefing president Guelleh, the airport's expansion project representatives said the project was being implemented in three phases at a cost of over 130 million US Dollars.
The construction of the runway and terminal has already been finalized while the installation of state-of-the-art communication equipment and other electronic gadgets would be completed by December this year.
President Guelleh said on the occasion that the expansion project of the Bole International Airport would have high economic value not only to Ethiopia but also to the neighboring countries in particular and the continent at large.
The terminal is regarded second best in the whole of the continent next only to one in South Africa.
