Indian Businessmen To Establish Match, Fireworks Factory

Addis Ababa July 17(ENA)-- The visiting Indian delegation announces plan to establish a match and fireworks Factory here in Ethiopia.

    During talks with members of the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce here on Monday, the delegation said it was studying the possibilities of setting up the factory in a very near future.

     Delegation head, G. Ashokan said if raw materials necessary for the production of the matches and fireworks were available here, the Indian businessmen would establish the plant soon.

         The business delegation had held talks with officials of the Ethiopian Quality and Standards Authority and the local business community.

     The delegates will leave here for home tomorrow.
