Commission
urges public to actively participate in anti-corruption campaign
Addis
Ababa July 23(ENA)-- The federal ethics and anti-corruption commission has
called on the public at large to actively participate in support of the efforts
exerted to tackle corruption and malpractices.
The commission told ENA on Monday that the general public is
duty-bound to expose corruption and abuse of power in their respective
localities.
The commission said the government would provide the necessary
legal protection to people who would expose graft and corruption.
Unilateral efforts to address corruption could not bring about the
desired results, the commission said, adding there should be a holistic
mechanism to root out the social vice.
