African leaders returning home
Addis Ababa, February 4(ENA)-- Heads of State and Government of 12 African countries have returned home after attending the First Extraordinary Summit of the Assembly of the African Union.
Accordingly, Presidents of Algeria, Chad, Benin and Nigeria left Addis Ababa later on Monday.
Leaders of Namibia, Niger, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Brundi, Sudan, Mozambique Angola, Libya, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Burkinafaso, Mali, Zimbabwe and South Africa returned home on Tuesday.
Leaders of Ghana, Sharawi Arab Republic and Liberia are expected to leave for their respective countries tonight and tomorrow morning.
Senior government officials and diplomats saw off the leaders upon departure at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
