African Leaders Continue To Arrive Here For AU Summit

Addis Ababa, February 2 (ENA)-- African Heads of State and Government have continued to arrive in Addis Ababa to attend the first extraordinary summit of the African Union (AU) due to open on Monday.

Accordingly, Djiboutian President, Ismail Omar Guelleh, Namibian President, Sam Nujoma, Angolan President, Jose Eduardo Dos Santos, Somalia Republic President, Abdul Kasim Hassan, Chad President, Idris Deby, Burundian President, Pierre Buyoya, Malawi president, Dr. Bakili Muluzi, Equatorial Guinea president, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Zambian president, Levy Mwanawasa, SC and Zimbabwean president, Robert Mugabe arrived here on Sunday.

Upon arrival at the Bole International Airport the Heads of State and Government were welcomed by Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, AU Interim Chairperson, Amara Essy, senior government officials and resident diplomats.
