Melse, Quaddafi discuss bilateral, international issues
Addis Ababa, February 2(ENA)-- Prime minister Meles Zenawi and Libyan leader Muammer al -Quaddafi hold discussions on bilateral and international issues late on Saturday.
The discussions held at the National Palace for two hours maily focused on issues of strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Prime minister Meles and Muammer Quaddafi also exchanged views about the first extraordinary summit of the African Unity (AU), on the union's and other international issues.
President Qadaffif who arrived here on Saturday upon the invitation of prime minister Meles prior to the AU summit would visit various places on Sunday.
In a briefing he gave to reporters up on Arrival at the Bole International Airport on Saturday, president Muammer al-Quaddafi said he has no objection that Ethiopia which hosted the Organizations of African Unity(OAU) for 40 years would be the seat of AU.
