Donations, pledges continue to pour in for drought-hit

Addis Ababa, December 25(ENA)-- Management members and workers of the Addis Ababa water and sewerage Authority have raised 167,000 Birr in support of the drought-hit citizens in the country.

The public relation section of the Authority told ENA on Wednesday that the donation came following deliberations on the prevailing drought situation of the country.

Meanwhile, employees of the Addis credit and saving institution and staff members of the Yekatit 12 senior secondary school have pledged 10 percent of their one-month salary for the relief operation in the country.
