Addis Ababa, Dec. 23(ENA)--Employees of the federal civil service commission and the Addis Ababa Administration education bureau decided to raise 10 per cent of their one-month salary in support of the drought-hit compatriots.

The staff of the Addis Ababa Administration education bureau have also formed a five-member committee that would coordinate further assistance to the drought-affected people, the public relations service of the bureau said.

Pledges have also continued in the zonal and woreda education offices as well as schools in the city, according to the public relations service.
