Addis Ababa, Dec. 13(ENA)--The disaster prevention and preparedness commission (DPPC) received here on Friday over 472,000 Birr donated by 25 enterprises in support of the relief operations underway in the country.

Members of the diplomatic corps in the Ethiopian Embassy in Yemen have also contributed 2,336 USD.

Accordingly, Employees of the Ethiopian Insurance Corporation have donated 119,413 Birr while the management and workers of the Ethiopian National Bank have raised 69,647 Birr.

Similarly, employees and members of the management of Mega Distribution Enterprise have donated over 31,980 Birr and workers, management and trade union of the commercial printing press have raised 27,886 birr.

In a similar development, among others, employees of the Catholic relief Service have raised 26,000 Birr and war injured individuals in the disabilities care center have donated 26,000 Birr by deducting from their food ration.

Tesema Shiferw who reside in the United Stated has donated 100,000 Birr for the same cause.
