Region Dec. 3(ENA)--Various sections of the society have continued to donate funds for citizens affected by the drought induced drought.

Accordingly, workers of the Somali state disaster prevention, preparedness and food security bureau have decided to donate their one month salary to be deducted in installments in a year.

Meanwhile, employees at the Debre Birhan Hospital and branch office of the works and social affairs pledged 5 percent of their one month salary while workers of the Debre Birhan Sheep insemination center pledged 10 percent of their one-month salary.

Similarly, the Ahmed Gure Elementary school teachers decided to contribute 5 percent of their salary and the Illubabor zone teachers' association donated 5,645 Birr for the same cause.
