Addis Ababa, Dec. 2(ENA)--The St. George Sports' Association and supporters on Monday donated 60,101 Birr for citizens affected by the drought induced food shortage.

The donation came after the association's general assembly held on Sunday. During the meeting the association had decided to donate 50,000 Birr while supporters, couches and players had contributed 10,101 Birr.

Meanwhile the management and workers of the Kaliti Metals manufacturing had decided to give 10 percent of their one-month salary for the same purpose.

The factory management and workers donated the reported fund after a relevant deliberations, the factory told ENA on Monday.
