The Weighted average exchange rate of the inter-bank foreign exchange market deals which took place on Friday was 1USD= 8.5583 Birr, the National Bank of Ethiopia said.

According to the market movements recorded, the highest offer for one USD was Birr 8.5587 and the lowest offer for the day was Birr 8.5581.
