EPA Briefs Russian Business Mission
Addis Ababa Dec 22 (ENA)--The Russian Business delegation was briefed here on Thursday about the public enterprises set to being privatized, the Ethiopian Privatization Agency (EPA) said.
The Agency told ENA on Friday that the Russian entrepreneurs were invited to participate in the privatization activities in Ethiopia.
It said some of the 147 public enterprises had been designated to be given for foreign private investors.
The Russian Business Mission on their part expressed willingness to participate in the Mines, Agriculture and Plastic Manufacturing investment fields in Ethiopia.
The briefing was presided over by Engineer Gizaw Tekle Mariam, Head of the Public Enterprises Supervisory Authority.
Also present at the briefing were acting head of the EPA Christine Seifu and heads of various public enterprises.
