Addis Ababa, April.21(ENA)--The multi-national auto company Daimler-Chrysler donated a vehicle worth 260,000 birr here on Wednesday to the Ethiopian Olympic Committee.

Speaking at the hand over ceremony, company representative Jochen Grossman said the vehicle would help athletes in their preparation for upcoming Athens Olympic.

President of the Ethiopian Olympic committee Assefa Mammo said on his part that the donation has paramount importance as it was during the time of Olympic preparation.

Athlete Haile Gebresilassie and Derartu Tullu as well as African Olympic Committee President Ibrahim Diallo were present at the handing over ceremony.
