Company secures over 41.4 million Birr from sales of tantalum
Addis Ababa, August 17(ENA)-- The mining share company said it had secured over 41.4 million Birr from the export of 80 tons of tantalum during the just-ended Ethiopian budget year.
Planning and market assessment service representative with the enterprise, Yoseph Melese told ENA on Friday that about three million Birr had also been obtained from the sales of tantalum at local markets.
The company has been supplying various raw materials for the different domestic industries, he said.
He said the firm would buy new machineries worth seven million Birr in the coming Ethiopian year in a bid to boost its production, Yoseph said.
The company had produced 55 tones of tantalum last Ethiopian year, Yoseph said.
