Central
Committee Conferences Discuss on
Pressing Problems Identified
Addis
Ababa, August 9 (ENA)---Some central Committee members of the Tigray People's
Liberation Front (TPLF) have confessed that they have been indulged in
undemocratic practices, which they said could endanger the political system of
the country.
Participants of the on-going 4th regular conference of the
TPLF said behavioral misconduct, lack of integrity and transparency in job
placements have been witnessed among some members of the front.
The
participants praised those central committee members, who were determined to
maintain the democratic path and noble causes of the Front.
They also vowed to expose corrupt central committee members
provided that circumstantial evidences were produced against them.
Meanwhile, a report presented at the on-going renewal
conference of the Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM) has revealed that
the movement was not having a transparent position about the political system
being built in the country over the last ten years.
It
said failure to adopt a clear position with regard to the political system of
the country, has forced some central committee members of the movement to
abandon the noble cause that thousands have been martyred.
ANDM has also failed to identify the weaknesses and threats,
which have put the political system of the country at stake.
According to the report, the movement has also been unable to
devise viable mechanisms that could address the pressing problems of the people
over the stated period.
The
Participants of the conference have discussed thoroughly and openly about the
major problems identified by the report.
