Wife
of former Djiboutian president dies

Ababa August 5(ENA)-- The wife of the former Djiboutian president who was here
on vacation passed away on Sunday at the armed forces hospital due to natural
causes, a senior official at the ministry of foreign affairs said.
The
official told ENA this evening that a high level Ethiopian government delegation
led by deputy prime minister and minister of defense Tefera Waliwa representing
prime minister Meles Zenawi has left for Djibouti escorting the corpse to attend
the funereal ceremony.
The
deceased was admitted to the armed forces hospital on Friday, according to the
official.
