Dispute Over Cultural Show Settled
Addis Ababa, April 23(ENA)-- A Cultural show, which was postponed due to financial dispute between the Ethiopian Exhibition Center and the Ethio Cultural Promotion, will be opened on Thursday following the settlement of the dispute between the two sides.
The cultural show was supposed to be opened last Monday, but it was cancelled after the organizer, the Ethio Cultural Promotion, a private limited company, failed to pay 107,400 Birr in rent to the center.
Briefing journalists on Wednesday, Compnay General manager, Murad Mohammed, and General Manager of the Center and Marketing Development organization, Mekdes Gebremedihin said the disagreement was settled after the two sides signed a new agreement.
According to the new agreement, the center charges the company a sum of 73,927 Birr for staging the show for seven days beginning from the reported date.
The cultural exhibition, which is the first of its kind, would remain open for public from 24 April - 30 April 2003.
