New Result-Oriented Performance Evaluation To Be Implemented As of Next July
Addis Ababa, April 21(ENA)--The new Result-oriented Performance Evaluation Directive will be implemented beginning from Next July, the Ministry of Capacity Building announced.
Mesfin Abebe, Reform Development and Consultancy Services Department told ENA at the end of Consultative meet on the directive on Monday that the directive would be executed in all government offices as of the stated period.
He said relevant training would be given to all civil servants across the country.
Various suggestions forwarded in the course of the meeting would be incorporated in the directive before its implementation, Mesfin said.
The "New Paradigm Shift" (directive) is believed to be fair as it entirely involves employees during evaluation of performances, he said.
According to the new directive, the evaluation would focus on performances of institutions rather individuals.
Executives of government offices are expected to play a leading role in the implementation of the directive.
