Addis Ababa,April 19(ENA)--The Ethiopian Privatization Agency has privatized 225 state developmental enterprises over the last eight years, its Information and Public Relations Head announced.

Alganesh Gebre-Egziabher told ENA on Friday that an over 3.4 billion Birr revenue was secured from the sale of the enterprises.

The agency has also privatized several government-owned enterprises worth 4.8 million Birr in this Ethiopian fiscal year, she said.

The agency has finalized preparation to privatize seven crop and horticultural state farms through auction this year, she said.
