Czech President calls for growing bilateral relations with Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, April 16(ENA)--The direct bilateral trade relations between Ethiopia and the Czech Republic need to be bolstered, President Vaclav klaus said.
After receiving the credentials of the Berlin-based Ethiopian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Hiruy Amanuel, the Czech president recalled the strong relations that had existed between the former Yugoslavia and Ethiopia.
Vaclav said, the amicable relations forged between the two countries over the past ten years need to be further strengthened, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Ambassador Hiruy on his part briefed the Czech Ambassador about the existing situations in Ethiopia as well as about Ethiopia's relations with neighboring countries and those in the Horn of Africa, the Ministry quoted the Ethiopian Embassy in Berlin as saying.
