Government set to promote investment: Ministry
Addis Ababa, April 11(ENA)--The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has been taking measures in a bid to promote trade and investment in the country, the Ministry of Information said.
In a statement sent to ENA, the ministry said on Friday the government has been engaged in regular monitoring and evaluation activities of investment codes and their applications to expedite the promotion of investment throughout the nation.
Creating new vistas, offering additional opportunities, minimizing initial capital of investment, and providing more incentives to entrepreneurs were some of the measures undertaken at present, the statement said.
The government is committed to do all in its power to facilitate the role of the private sector, the release said, adding, the role of the public and the private sector is vital for expansion trade ad investment in the country.
