Eritrean opposition parties to set up army to oust Isayas
Addis Ababa, April 3(ENA)-- Thirteen Eritrean opposition groups announced on Wednesday that they would establish an 'army' to topple Eritrean President Isayas Afeworki, AFP reported.
Eritrean National Alliance Secretary General, Heruy Tedla Bairu told reporters in Khartoum that all of the thirteen groups composing his coalition' have forces inside Eritrea.
''We will unite our forces in one army and move for action from inside Eritrea,'' pledging not to launch attacks from Sudan.
Khartoum and Asmara have tense relations as they harbor each other's opposition groups. Sudan in October last year accused Eritrea of backing an offense by rebels in the eastern border region, the report said.
