Road Accidents Kills 233 Persons In Addis Ababa In Nine Months

Addis Ababa, May 22(END)-- Road accidents that occurred over the last nine months has claimed the lives of 233 people while incurring property damage valued at over 16.6 million Birr, the Addis Ababa Police Commission said.

The Commission told ENA on Saturday that 419 and 1,161 people had also suffered from serious and minor injuries from the accidents respectively.

According to the Commission, the amount of property damage incurred during the reported period exceeded that of the previous year by three million Birr, it said
