African Child Policy Forum to hold international conference in Addis
Addis Ababa, May 19(ENA)-- The African Child Policy Forum is organizing the first in its series of policy conferences on the African Child and the Family from 21 to 22 May 2004 at the African Union (AU) Headquarters in Addis Ababa.
The Conference will be organized in conjunction with the Fourth Meeting of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child under the theme of The African Child and the Family.
The Conference will provide an opportunity for leading world-class authorities, policy makers, and child rights organizations to review the reality, trends and developments over the last decades.
It would also highlight good practices and possible directions for future action.
The conference will be addressed by high-level, internationally renowned authorities on child rights and family welfare.
