calls forwarded to you to another fixed / mobile telephone there by making
life comfortable in the following scenarios.

can divert your incoming calls to another home, office as mobile telephone
number of your choice and get your messages tike you get yours maintained.

To assure your incoming calls right away by another recipient

economizing it by switching it off you are able to receive your calls at
another end.

hosting another and provides you the convenience to the second call holding the

has prepared mobile telephone tariff for a long distance
call and Broadband Multi-media tariff

corporation made over 100% tariff discount for Broadband multi-media data
service users.

The Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) has prepared a long
distance tariff for mobile telephone with a view to encouraging customers to
intensively use the services with reasonable prices as well as introducing
zonal tariff and traffic volume based income generation scheme. In addition,
from the existing DDN service tariff the corporation has made over 100% tariff
discount for Broadband multi – media data service users.

The mobile tariff zone is based on four places
where SMS switchings are installed. The four tariff zones include first
tariff zone (Addis Ababa & its surroundings), second tariff zone (Mekelle
& its surroundings), third tariff zone (Dire Dawa & its
surroundings) and fourth tariff zone (Bahir Dar & its surroundings). |

The Addis Ababa tariff zone comprises such
surrounding towns as Jimma, Nekemte, Awassa, Shashamene, Nazareth, Assela
and Ziway.

tariff zone is Birr 0.72 per minute; whereas the price for inter zonal call
rate, i.e, for calls made between towns in different tariff zones is Birr

The rate for mobile to fixed telephone
or fixed to mobile call within the same tariff zone, which had
been Birr 0.75 per minute earlier, is Birr 0.72 per minute now,
whereas the rate for calls between towns in different tariff zones
is Birr 1.50 per minute. |

Since value added tax (VAT) is included in the
prepaid card value, the amount to be deducted for prepaid

For post paid customers, 15% VAT is

Broadband
multi-media service tariff
|

Regarding comprehensive tariff for IP
VPN (Internet protocol Virtual Private Network) services on the
Broadband Multi – media network, the IP VPN tariff is composed
of two components; that is, charge for bandwidth per class of
service and customer premise equipment charge. |
